Dashboarding with Kibella: KPIs in a browser, fed by your own engine

Dashboarding with Kibella lets you publish visualizations and KPI dashboards on the web, fed directly by Anatella pipelines, with drill-down and data that can be refreshed as new rows arrive.

Web dashboards

Visualizations and dashboards in a browser.

Incremental refresh

Add new rows to the data without reloading everything.

Drill down

Go from a KPI to the detail behind it.

HOW IT WORKS

How dashboarding with Kibella works.

Three steps, in one engine, on a standard server with no cluster.

1. Prepare the figures

Anatella computes the KPIs and aggregates from your sources.

2. Export to Kibella

An export action sends the table to Kibella. By default it replaces the previous data. An incremental mode adds rows for real-time display.

3. Explore and share

Users open the dashboards in a browser, filter and drill down, and share them.

GETTING IT RIGHT

Choices that shape a dashboard.

A good dashboard starts from decisions, not from available charts.

Decide the KPIs first

List the decisions the dashboard supports, then the figures needed. Anatella computes them from the detailed data.

Choose the refresh mode

Full replacement or incremental addition of rows depends on the data volumes and on how fresh the figures must be.

Combine with model outputs

Scores from predictive models and segments can be computed in Anatella and displayed alongside business KPIs.

TRANSPARENCY

Figures that trace back to their source.

Each figure on a dashboard comes from an Anatella flow that you can open. A number can therefore be traced to its source and to the rules that produced it.

For analysts

Follow a KPI back through the flow that computed it.

For managers

Drill down from a figure to the detail behind it.

For teams

The same dashboards are shared in a browser, without installing a client.

DATA

What data a dashboard shows.

Anatella connects to more than 80 sources, so this data can be gathered without prior custom development.

Business KPIs

Sales, volumes and other indicators computed by Anatella.

Fresh rows

Rows added incrementally for near real-time display.

Model scores

Predictions computed with Modeler models.

Segments

Customer segments created with Stardust.

PROOF

Dashboards on large volumes.

We do not have a published case study dedicated to dashboarding. The reference below is indirect: it shows the data volumes the pipelines feeding a dashboard can handle.

Minsalud | Public health

30 TB and 400 million records per year

Not documented as a dashboarding case. It shows the volumes that Anatella pipelines handle upstream of any dashboard.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is Kibella a separate product to buy?

Kibella is the self-service BI tool of the TIMi suite. Licensing details depend on your agreement and are best confirmed with the TIMi team.

Can dashboards update in real time?

Data can be added incrementally to Kibella, which supports near real-time display. The refresh rhythm depends on your pipeline.

Can I keep my existing BI tool?

Yes. Anatella can also feed Tableau and Qlik files, or any database. See the BI tool integration use case.

Can dashboards show predictions?

Yes. Anatella applies Modeler models to your data, and the scores can be exported to Kibella like any other column.
