5.22.28.1. SharePoint and OneDrive first time setup

 

Before accessing Microsoft Sharepoint or before accessing your Microsoft OneDrive, you need to create and setup a new Azure application. Here are the steps:

 

1.Open the URL   https://portal.azure.com  and “log-in” using your normal “Login” and “Password” for Azure (These are the same “Login” and “Password” that are required for parameters P2 and P3 inside Anatella). Then, click on the “App Registration” icon:

2.We will create a new Azure App: Click the “New registration” button:

3.Give a name to your Azure App number1 (you can use any name) and click the “Register” button: number2

4.You are now receiving the Anatella parameter P1 (i.e. your “Application ID”): it’s here: number1

5.Open the “Authentification” panel (Click here: number2  ), change the parameter “Treat application as a public client” to “Yes”(Click “Yes” here: number3  ) and save your changes (click “Save” here: number4  )

Alternatively, another way to change the parameter “Treat application as a public client” to “Yes” is the following:

6.Open the “API Permissions” panel (click here: number1 ) and click the Add permission” button here: number2

7.Click on “Microsoft Graph”:

8.Click on the “Delegated Permissions” button. number1

9.This permission is required to use Sharepoint:

 
Write “site” in the search box here: number2 ..and tick the checkbox named “Sites.FullControl.all” here: number3
 

(do not enable this permission if you don’t intend to access Sharepoint)

 
 

10.This permission is required to use OneDrive:
 

Write “file” in the search box here: number1 ..and tick the checkbox named “Files.ReadWrite.all” here: number2
 

(do not enable this permission if   you don’t intend to access OneDrive)

11.Click the “Add Permissions” button number3

 

 

12.Grant “Admin consent” to your application:

 
12.1. Click on the “Grant admin consent for …” button:
